Engineering; P.E.; Member of IEEE, Erich is a utility consulting engineer based in Vancouver, BC, Canada providing technical services to international power utilities and manufacturers that supply products to utilities. He specializes in High Voltage technology; polymer, porcelain and fibreglass based electrical insulation; T&D equipment failure analysis; contamination related insulation flashover problems; in-service inspection and diagnostic maintenance techniques; independent witnessing of certification testing and QC&A inspections; expert witness and litigation; R&D projects studies; technical and marketing surveys; and EMTP studies, etc..

Using diagnostic and sensing technologies to provide field inspection services
of towers, poles, T&D equipment, RI and TVI sources, porcelain and polymer
insulators, etc.
Reviewing technical equipment purchasing specifications
and requirements for your electrical power needs.
Conducting system modeling and analysis using the EMTP
to meet your technical requirements.
Acting as your representative inspecting manufacturing plants, writing
Inspection Test Plans, and witnessing of acceptance and commissioning
testing in the laboratory and/or field, etc.
